The Folk Architecture Museum (MBL) deals with the storage and archiving of relics of material and spiritual culture. The institution offers exhibits on the culture of the Boyko region for visitors. The activities of the open-air museum include the organization of conferences on, inter alia, the culture of the former Boyko region, as well as events and festivals aimed at introducing, among others, the folklore of the lands once inhabited by Ruthenians (currently, this type of activity is suspended due to the epidemiological situation). MBL also conducts publishing and educational activities (workshops, guide courses).

The Historical Museum in Sanok deals with the storage and archiving of relics of material and spiritual culture, incl. the former Boykovshchyna. As part of the two-story exhibition "Orthodox art of the twentieth century", it presents icons from the Bieszczady area, saved from devastation in the post-war years. The museum archives and preserves icons and liturgical paraments also related to the Boyko region.

The Boyko Museum in Myczków deals with the storage and presentation of exhibits from the Bieszczady Mountains, the former Bojkowszczyzna. The exhibition, aimed mainly at tourists, relates to all spheres of life of the inhabitants of the former village. The collection includes a large number of very interesting Boyko folk costumes. In addition, the museum runs workshops. It organizes six thematic blocks within which the lesson takes place and a practical workshop76.

4. The Castle Museum in Łańcut

The Castle Museum in Łańcut deals with the storage and archiving of relics of material and spiritual culture, incl. the former Boykovshchyna. As part of the exhibition, he presents icons from the Bieszczady area, saved from devastation in the post-war years. The museum archives and preserves icons and liturgical paraments also related to the Boyko region. Its collection includes almost complete church equipment from the village of Równia, and a full iconostasis from Żołobek.

5. Folk University of Arts and Crafts in Wola Sękowa (ULRA)

ULRA conducts educational activities in the field of introducing craft practices, among others Carpathian areas. Classes are conducted, among others in the field of Carpathian embroidery, Carpathian jewelery (Krywulki), woodcarving, wicker, ceramics. The workshop sphere is conducted in conjunction with the substantive preparation of the students. The course refers to the history of craftsmanship. Classes are conducted, among others by ethnographers. Learning is done commercially.


6. Association for the Development of Zatwarnica Village - Ekomuzeum Chata Bojkowska

The Association conducts educational activities by making the reconstructed Chyża Bojkowska, which houses an exhibition of everyday utensils from the Bojkowszczyzna region available to visitors, free of charge. Ekomuzuem also covers the neighboring villages of Sękowiec and the practically uninhabited villages of Hulskie and Krywe. The large collection is the result of many years of collecting activities by Piotr Natanek.

7. Initiative Group of the village of Polana

The chamber was established on the initiative of Maria Faran, an age-old activist and native resident of the town. Mrs. Faran takes care of archiving the history of the village. It has a large collection of documents and photographs from Polana, which before the war was an example of a town with a predominance of the Polish ethnic element. In the Historical Chamber, there is an exhibition of everyday items of the former village, as well as several examples of pre-war (also Ruthenian) costumes. The "Polańskie Historical Collections" are an extremely authentic and intuitive attempt to present the past that the witness of history eagerly tells.


8. Museum of the History of the Bieszczady Mountains in Czarna Górna

The Museum in Czarna Górna is a private collection of items found in the Bieszczady Mountains. Objects are a contribution to telling about the past of the place and its former inhabitants. There are everyday objects, elements of church furnishings, a large collection of blacksmith items, and war props.


9. Carpathian Society

The Carpathian Society is an organization documenting the past and promoting the protection of monuments, supporting folklore and activities that cultivate Carpathian artistic traditions. Members of the Constitutional Tribunal record the condition of the natural environment and the changes taking place therein, and support scientific, popular-scientific, journalistic and literary activities promoting knowledge about the Carpathians. It supports the organization and popularization of museums, open-air museums, regional chambers, folklore festivals, as well as nature reserves and national parks. The Carpathian Society takes care of the church building in Łopienka, it is the initiator of many scientific and religious events.

10. Union of Ukrainians in Poland, Sanok branch.

They are involved in the reconstruction of Boyko's culture through handicraft (embroidery), music (singing groups), or the organization of events (Bojkowska Watra, attempts were made to reconstruct the Boyko's wedding by a representative of the Ukrainian minority in Sanok, Marianna Jara.

(until 2007, the Informal Group of Stonemasons "Magurycz"), - the activities include rescuing, inventorying and documenting sepulchral art, roadside crosses and chapels and any unattended objects of church art (baptismal fonts, crosses from the finials of non-existent churches, mortuaries, chapels, archives) in areas originally inhabited mainly by Boyko and Lemko.
