EthnoCarpathia route

EthnoCarpathia route projekt Łukasz Rząca

A proposal to discover and experience the folk culture of the Polish-Slovak border in the Podkarpacie and Lesser Poland provinces in Poland and the Prešov region in Slovakia. It takes the visitor on a sensual journey - full of visual, taste, auditory, aromatic and physical and spiritual experiences of the Carpathians through the cultures of Boyko, Dolinian, Lemko, Pogórzany and the areas of Šariš, Horný Zemplín, and Zamagurie.

Getting to know the folk culture with all your senses, coexisting in perfect symbiosis with the mystical nature of the Carpathians, mental opening and focusing on the rhythm of life of former inhabitants of the Polish-Slovak borderland, who lived in harmony with the rhythm of the seasons, religious holidays and themselves.
Carpathian ethno means flagship spaces, places, objects, people, their creativity and food, while traveling through villages in the valleys, pastoral buildings in mountain meadows, mountain passes, wooden churches and Orthodox churches on the slopes of the mountains, and finally cities where the development of industry competed with culture and now he preserves, nurtures and reveals it to those traveling through the Polish-Slovak borderland.
The goal is to absorb the folk culture of the Carpathians with all your senses.
