ETNOCARPATHIA

The richness and uniqueness of cultures from the Polish-Slovak border area in the Carpathian Mountains is unparalleled. Among the phenomenal mountains, valleys and meandering rivers of this region, colorful ethnic groups of the Lemkos, Pogórzans, Boykos and Dolinians flourished, as well as the former community of Šariš, Zmeplin and Zamagurie. Today these cultures are being reborn, thanks to which we can experience them anew, admiring the intricacy of the old crafts, tasting the dishes of our ancestors and enjoying the sounds of folk music.
