Museum of Noble Culture in Kopytowa

In the Krosno poviat, in the small town of Kopytowa, there is a noble manor house from the end of the 18th century. In the place of the present manor house, there used to be a monastic farm belonging to the Cistercian order. In the post-war years, the manor house gradually fell into disrepair, until in 1996 the manor and the park were purchased by Andrzej Kojder, a fan of monuments and collectors from Krosno. Thanks to his efforts and many years, over ten years of conservation work, it was possible to bring the manor and park complex in a condition similar to the original one. Unfortunately, almost nothing has survived from the original historic furnishings of the manor, it is the collector's passion and love for monuments that allowed the owner to recreate its appearance that could correspond to the house in which the middle-class nobles lived in this area.

The Museum of Noble Culture was opened in the manor, where you can see numerous pieces of furniture and other items found in noble houses from the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century. The portraits hanging on the walls of the court rooms feature figures of distinguished for Poland, such as Tadeusz Kościuszko, Józef Poniatowski or Aleksander Fredro.

In the basement of the manor house, the hosts created the Kopytowska Gingerbread House, where you can learn how to create, bake and decorate gingerbread, which is especially appreciated by school trips.
