A cult place in Polańczyk. Its atmosphere echoes the times when famous runners met in the local beer hall, who chose a somewhat adventurous life full of adventures, away from the so-called civilization. Zakapists. Today their portraits adorn the walls of the inn.
When visiting the Bieszczady Mountains, it is difficult not to visit the Tavern "Zakapior" and its younger mutation "Zakapiorek" in Polańczyk. In the tavern you can taste Lemko-Boyko cuisine, venison dishes as well as home cooking standards.
Oberża "Zakapior" started its activity on May 1, 2008. The goal that guided us when creating the place was not only to create a traditional restaurant, but also a place where you can get to know the atmosphere and life here in the Bieszczady Mountains.
During the tourist season, the owners invite you to dinner with live music in the evenings. Local musicians perform there, and the songs connect by chatting about the Bieszczady Mountains. The inn exhibits the works of local artists. Pictures, sculptures, artistic ceramics - you can find here in every corner.
" Zakapiorek" and a large area behind the inn create great conditions for a meal and relaxation for families with children. In high season, dance music is played there, and children find fun in the playground.
Oberża "Zakapior" offers 80 places in winter and 140 places in summer.
The facility is open every day all year round.
