The Safran guesthouse in Żiar is guided by the power of saffron in its mission - just like saffron, obtained from crocuses growing on the mountain halls, it wants to provide its guests with a sense of relaxation, regeneration and comfort.
The Safran guesthouse is located in the picturesque highland village of Żdiar at an altitude of 920 meters above sea level. It follows the power of saffron in its mission - just like saffron, obtained from the crocuses that grow on the mountain, it wants to provide its guests with a feeling of relaxation, regeneration and comfort. This is favored by aesthetically arranged rooms, subtly referring to the local color, and at the same time ensuring a comfortable stay thanks to wide, comfortable beds, wi-fi, sat-TV, tea and coffee making sets, bathrooms with showers and dryers. Each room has a balcony with an unforgettable view of the Belianske Tatras.
Guests can enjoy a moment of relaxation in the newly opened wellness, which includes a dry sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, salt cave or classic massages (on request).
Slovak and international cuisine, including various regional specialties, is served in the restaurant, which is part of the guest house.
The atmosphere is complemented by a beautiful view of the Belianske Tatras and Magura Spiska as well as interior colors in the shades of beech wood, gray and warm red.
Next to the facility there is a free but monitored parking lot for guests, a playground for children, a fireplace and a terrace with a view of the mountains.
