Pivovar U Medved'a is the most eastern brewing company in Slovakia. In a small craft brewery, which until recently was located at the back of the premises at ul. Namesti Slobody 70, 8 types of craft beer and 2 special beers were brewed: non-alcoholic and grapefruit radler. Today, the production of beer takes place in a different location, but the place has kept the atmosphere of a brewery.

In a small pavilion, we will first find nice wooden bears, inviting us to enter. The interior, decorated with taste and brewery style, has a lot of tables, chairs and bar benches. The walls are decorated with diagrams of beer production technology. The whole gives the impression of a professional, but also pleasantly decorated interior. To the right of the bar you will also find the so-called a lounge that allows the organization of closed events.

Bear cuisine is based on the traditions of the region and is popular among the inhabitants of Humenne, who, even during the lockdown, provide the company with a good turnover by ordering take-out dishes.
