Salas Tarnov

On the road No. 77, leading from Bardejov to Lubowla, is located restaurant Salas Tarnov. The building has stylish wooden finishes, referring to local architectural patterns.

There is a large square in front of the facility, where we can easily park our car.

Next to the main building, there are free-standing wooden farm buildings, where we can see live sheep and a real Tatra Sheepdog. These dogs help her juhasom herd sheep herds, protecting them, inter alia, from attacks of wolves, which not so long ago were the real bane of sheep herders in this area.

The restaurant specializes in Slovak cuisine, rich cuisine, but based on simple, natural and healthy products, most often obtained from own crops and breeding (mainly sheep).

The dishes that are especially worth recommending are:

• handmade dumplings with various fillings

• beef decoction with noodles

• dumplings with stew

• homemade lemonade

• and sheep and goat milk products

The relatively low prices of the dishes may be positively surprising, which allows people with poor wallets to eat their fill.
