Šariš - not only beer - salt, opals and UNESCO treasures
Full concentration will allow you to remember the image of wooden temples and ruins of castles immersed in the green of forests and mountain skies, getting to know the history of salt and opal mining full of secrets, experiencing cultural diversity closed in a common melting pot, awakening emotions related to communing with the treasures of world heritage.
The most characteristic visual designations of the Šariš region are wooden churches and churches as well as castle ruins blended into the mountain panorama. Eyesight is essential to learn the colors of folk costumes, the intricacy of bobbin lace, admire the daring dances, the intricate buildings of the fairy-tale Bardejov, as well as the charms of the nature reserve. The visual impressions will be complemented by the flavors of various dishes and the smells of herbs, forests, fields and meadows.
Arrival by plane to the airport in Kosice
Transfer to Presov, accommodation at the Carpe Diem Hotel, dinner, free time, overnight.

A guided walk around the city connecting in a unique way the cultural conglomerate of Slovaks, Poles, Ukrainians and Lemkos - the capital of the region (St. Nicholas Co-Cathedral, Synagogue, visiting the National Museum - the most important museum on the ethnographic route of the region, with a rich exhibition presenting rural life in the Carpathians, ok . 2 hours.
Transfer to the former Solivar salt mine - a historic complex of buildings, the oldest of which dates back to the second half of the 16th century. Visiting the Technical Museum and learning about the history of salt mining in Slovakia, approx. 1.5 hours.
Lunch at the Sport Bar Solivar, maintained in the atmosphere of a mine, with regional dishes.
Transfer to the UNESCO city of Bardejov, approx. 1 hour.
Accommodation in Hotel Aleksander 4 *, Bardejovskie Kupele (possibility of bathing).
Dinner, overnight.

A trip to Bodružal. Guided tour (different language versions) of the fully equipped Lemko church of St. Nicholas from 1658, included in the UNESCO list.
Return to Svidnik, lunch at the Vermex restaurant.
Transfer and excursion to Castle Šariš - the ruins of a medieval castle that gave the name of the region, overlooking Prešov and its surroundings. Visiting the ruins of the castle, approx. 3 hours with access. Šariš beer tasting.
