The Roman Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul in Tyrawa Solna is a former Greek Catholic parish church of St. John the Baptist. It is a beautiful, wooden building erected in 1837 on the site of an older, also wooden church. The temple was renovated in 1893 and 1927. The church in Tyrawa Solna represents a type of folk architecture in the classicist spirit, with clear features of Latinization. It does not look like other typical Orthodox churches with onion-shaped domes. The interior of the church is one great work of art. It is an oriented, log structure, tripartite structure with a tower of a pillar structure, timbered with vertical boards. Closed, three-sided presbytery, with two sacristy on both sides. The church stands on a stone foundation. A turret with a lantern rises above the nave. Above the entrance to the temple there is a portico with two stone columns. A stave door from 1838 leads to the church.

Inside the temple, the polychrome from 1927 by Władysław Lisowski is eye-catching. The iconostasis was renovated in the same year. The tsarist gate resembles a vine that seems to grow from the side of a sleeping Jesse. The iconostasis is crowned with a cartouche with the Mother of God and papal symbols. The iconostasis is completed by 16 pyramidal icons with the Last Supper in the center.

At the beginning of the 15th century, Tyrawa Solna and Mrzygłód formed one town. Ruthenian law was in force here.
