The church was founded in the 18th century. It was rebuilt in 1846. Then a new presbytery was built, the existing chancel was incorporated into the enlarged nave and covered with a common roof. Recently renovated in 1960–1964.

The Lemko church, north-west type, wooden, carcass construction, originally three-part. It consists of an elongated new chancel with three sides, a slightly wider former chancel, an even wider nave and an elongated, rectangular women's gallery. The eastern part of the new chancel with sloping walls is topped with an overhung pseudo-isber and a cornice with painted clocks. The pillars of the tower include the women's gallery. There is a place around the tower. Sheet metal roofs. Over all parts, uniform onion helmets with apparent lanterns and iron crosses. The interior is covered with flat ceilings with facets. Ornamental and figural polychrome on the walls. Between the presbytery and the nave, there is a complete iconostasis from the 19th century, including older icons. In the central part, the iconostasis has been covered by a modern altar with an image of Our Lady of Częstochowa.

There is a wooden fence around the church, supported by brick, stone posts. Next to the church, there is an active cemetery with preserved stone tombstones of former inhabitants.

After the displacement of the Lemkos as part of the Vistula campaign, the church is used as a Roman Catholic church. Our Lady of Częstochowa.
