Zemplin once became home to representatives of several ethnic groups and religions that have retained their unique expression and culture to this day. There are, among others, unique wooden Greek Catholic and Orthodox churches, a typical Zemplin dialect and folklore, as well as excellent traditional cuisine.
Due to its vastness and geographical diversity, Zemplín is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled areas in eastern Slovakia. Mountain hiking enthusiasts will be especially charmed by the Carpathian Mountains, where they will be able to wander in silence and reflection along the wild mountain trails.
