Lutowiska.

Lutowiska - the gate to the High Bieszczady Mountains.

Lutowiska is a dynamically developing town that successfully tries to meet the expectations of visitors. There are more and more places to stay in the wild nature.

Lutowiska is famous for one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Bieszczady Mountains.

There is a special vantage point here, where we can not only admire the majesty of the Bieszczady Mountains, but also find out what exactly we are looking at.

Unfortunately, not many monuments have survived here, some of the few are:

  • neo-gothic church st. Stanislaus the Bishop,
  • wooden villa from before the First World War,
  • old catholic cemetery,
  • Jewish cemetery,
  • a monument in honor of the murdered Roma and Jews.

In the 1960s, the filming of "Pan Tadeusz" was shot in Lutowiska.
