Cultural Center BI Antonycza was established in 2009. Since 2011, the Center has regularly conducted free cultural and educational activities in the field of protection, development and dissemination of Lemko culture, as well as art and music.
The purpose of establishing the Cultural Center of Bohdan Igor Antonycz in Gorlice was to create a universal platform for the Lemko community, enabling the cultivation and development of ancestral traditions. The facility conducts intercultural dialogue for mutual recognition and understanding, and tries to shape good-neighborly relations with the local community.
The Center supports young artists, writers and musicians in broadly understood cultural activities. The exhibitions and other events organized here have a significant impact on the development of good-neighborly relations between the Lemko community and the local population.
