Greek Catholic church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul

It was built on the site of the former wooden church, which was supposed to burn down at the end of the 18th century. Considered the largest brick church in the Lemko region

Orthodox Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Krynica-Zdrój - a historic Greek Catholic church built in the years 1875–1879, located in Krynica-Zdrój.

Since 1996 it has been the parish church of the Greek Catholic parish of Saints Peter and Paul in Krynica-Zdrój.

The church was built in the years 1875–1879 by Rev. Wiktor Żegiestowski, the then Greek Catholic parish priest in Krynica and the dean of Muszyna, together with his associate Mikołaj Gromosiak.

It was built on the site of the former wooden one, which was to burn down at the end of the 18th century. It was consecrated by Archbishop Józef Sembratowicz, Archbishop of Lviv. Considered the largest brick church in the Lemko region. After the Operation "Vistula" and the repatriation of the Lemkos, it was taken over and used by the Roman Catholic Church. Renovated in the years 1959–1962.

From 1987, services in the Eastern rite began to be celebrated there. On December 20, 1996, the temple was again taken over by Greek Catholics and became a parish church. In 2000–2007, the building underwent a major renovation.

It is a brick and stone building, partially plastered. A single-nave temple with a transept that closes the narrower chancel with the sacristy adjoining it. The building has a saddle roof with seven spherical turrets with blind lanterns. The front tower has a spherical cupola with a lantern surrounded on two sides by two smaller annexes, ending similarly to the main tower. Including the belfry, it has 11 towers, which is as many as the number of apostles without Judas. The temple is covered with a sheet of metal.

The interior of the old interior and furnishings has a polychrome, the upper zone of the iconostasis and four wooden side altars from the 19th century.

Next to the church, there is a brick belfry from the period of the construction of the temple. The church is surrounded by a stone wall with a metal fence on it. Above the church, there is a former cemetery with individual Lemko tombstones and crosses.
