The City Gallery in Lipany is located in the building of the municipal office on the ground floor. There you can see exhibitions, mainly in the field of painting and photography.
Lipany is a small town in the Prešov Region with about 6,500 inhabitants. The first records of this town come from 1312. In an urban office building it is located on the ground floor Municipal Gallery in Lipanach. This gallery very often organizes exhibitions promoting local artists. Most often, these are exhibitions of paintings and photographs that can be purchased while visiting the facility.
The gallery is easy to get to as there is a large parking lot across the street, where you can leave your car while visiting the exhibitions currently displayed in the gallery.
Recently, the gallery hosted an exhibition of paintings by Natalie Studenkowa entitled "Colors of light and water".
The lobby gallery you can see the exhibition entitled "The Year of the field" or the work of a famous artist Jano Stool e showing how people lived in those areas. Also in the gallery's hall there is the ANJEL exhibition, i.e. an exhibition of figurines of various types of angels, which are sometimes seen by us, but sometimes also invisible.
Visiting this gallery can be a great complement to the program for people who enjoy the attractions of the new aquapark in Lipany or avid skiers, going down the nearby ski slopes.
