Murals under the railway viaduct

Under the railway viaduct in Komańcza, there are murals by Arkadiusz Andrejkow depicting the silhouettes of a wolf and an owl. These are examples of a new art trend that is street art.

Arkadiusz Andrejkow, the author of the deskala series as part of the Silent Memorial project, created on the pillars of the viaduct in Komańcza typical murals depicting Bieszczady animals, i.e. a wolf and an owl. Ever since these murals appeared in the public space of Komańcza, they have become a kind of showcase of this town. They practically attract the attention of every inhabitant of Komancza as well as numerous tourists who came to Komancza on purpose or passed through it. According to the artist Arkadiusz Andrejkow, each of his works as part of street art was created for one day. Each of these works was painted sketchy and transparent to leave as much rawness as possible on the wall. So that the characters come out of it, they are an integral part of a given object, as if they have always been here.

Murals under the viaduct in Komańcza have definitely enlivened this once not the most pleasant place at the intersection of communication routes.

These are the words of the author of these works of art, and now we are left to set out on a journey along the trail of several dozen of the artist's works scattered across the entire area of south-eastern Poland.
