There are typical cottages here, built in this region in the second half of the 18th century and found in various places in the Beskids until the 1950s. We can see their decor, tools and costumes of the inhabitants of this part of Slovakia. We see how the townspeople celebrated weddings and the birth of their children, spent long evenings and enjoyed the fruitful harvest together.

In addition to typical huts, there is a blacksmith's workshop with anvils, hammers and horseshoes, as well as a pottery workshop, as well as outbuildings - a barn, a granary and a water mill. The open-air museum presents old tools: plows, flails, harrows, hoes, rakes, grinders for cleaning grain, as well as saws and wheelwright's equipment. A weaving workshop is displayed in one of the huts. An interesting fact is the apiary with oval, curved hives.

On a small hill in the central part of the museum, a wooden Lemko church of St. Michael the Archangel, built without nails, from the town of Nowa Siedlica. In the three-part, shingled temple there is an iconostasis with icons from the 16th - 18th centuries.

This interesting museum of folk architecture attracts a lot of tourists interested in the history of Slovak-Ruthenian culture. Many outdoor events take place here, for example, annual performances of folk groups for children and adults, and demonstrations of folk crafts, incl. blacksmiths, weavers and sculptors who make traditional items on display.
