Regional Museum A. Fastnacht in Brzozów

The museum is located in the town hall building. The patron of the museum is Adam Fastnacht, researcher of the history of Sanok and the Sanok region, curator of the Ossolineum.

The museum was opened on March 17, 1980.

Museum exhibits mainly consist of regional historical, ethnographic and artistic memorabilia. The oldest ones are flint and stone hatchets and hatchets from the Neolithic period (4.5-1.7 thousand years BC) discovered during excavations in the vicinity of Brzozów.

The museum also stores documents relating to the town of Brzozów from the 17th and 18th centuries, such as: the book of the vogt and jurors from the second half of the 17th century and the description of the borders of Brzozów from 1748. The exhibition on the history of the city in the 19th century consists of handcrafted products, for example pipes from the turn of the 20th century, and wood products (pear, briar and cherry).

The museum also exhibits the combing workshop of Jan Fal - the last comb maker in Brzozów. The art collections include, above all, sculptures by local artists: Stanisław Adamczak from Zmiennica, Marek Duda from Izdebki, Stanisław Konieczka from Humniska, Antoni Lasek from Humniska, Aniela Orłowska from Przysietnica, Roman Sokalski from Humniska, Marek Szpiech from Hłudno, Piotr Worońca from Brzozowa street.
