Slovak regional cuisine in an atmospheric interior in the center of Prešov
The Šarišská chiža restaurant is located in the center of Prešov. It is a restaurant focused on Slovak and regional cuisine. It has been operating since 2011.
The interiors of the premises were arranged in the historic cellars of a historic tenement house on the main street of the city. The interior decoration refers to the folk traditions of the Šariš region, so it is full of elements of old folk costumes, furnishings of huts and elements of folk architecture - it perfectly harmonizes with the content of the proposed menu.
Every day you can choose from the rich lunch menu of the day or from the main menu, which consists of traditional favorite dishes, like at the mother's.
It is a great place to organize nice family meetings, corporate events, diplomas, christenings or simply meetings with friends. The restaurant has a sound system and a projector, so you can liven up the party with friends or colleagues with a small concert or karaoke.
The restaurant seats 90 people in the basement rooms, and in the summer months you can relax and eat on the terrace in the backyard of a historic tenement house.
