Shepherds sheep cheese

Bacówka is located halfway between the "u Górala" Inn and Brzegi Górne. Coming from the Wyżna Pass, you pass the seat of the Angel of Bieszczady on your right. Then you go down the serpentine road and on the right side there is a Shepherd's House with sheep's cheese.

There are several such places on the route of the Great Bieszczady Loop. This one is distinguished by the fact that it has been providing its products to tourists for the longest, over 40 years. They come back to this place every year. Many of them say, "Hello, I'm back." This is how you can count the passing time in the Bieszczady Mountains, we hear in a conversation with the curator of this place, who cuts a piece of oscypek cheese for us, saying "Here, try it, you will know why tourists are coming back". If someone likes oscypek cheese, each one will be good, I answer. - They like it too, that's why they come back. I'm just here. Everything tastes better in the Bieszczady Mountains. Perhaps because it is closer to heaven from here, or maybe because I put my whole heart and my decades of experience into these cheeses - you will hear in the conversation.
