St. Martyrs of Paraskevia in Łopienka.

Once a populous place of Marian devotion, where crowds of pilgrims from distant Silesia, Hungary, Snina, Kraków or Rzeszów came to church fairs. Today, the church has been rebuilt from ruins, but still rustic, empty inside ... Only the icon of the Madonna, written today, reminds us of the great old times of this place.

The Orthodox Church in Łopienka was erected at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries in memory of the holy image of Our Lady of Łopień, which, according to legend, hung on a 300-year-old linden tree growing next to the church. Several years before the Second World War, the roof of the church was covered with sheet metal. From 1947 it was not used for religious purposes. After World War II, the church began to fall into ruin, because there was no one to look after this place. The icon of the Mother of God and the altar were taken to the church in Polańczyk in 1949. In 1954 a sheet of metal was stolen from the roof. The roof truss collapsed in the 1960s. During this period, the church was used by the highlanders who kept grazing as a sheep pen, and the church floor slabs were used in the shepherds' huts as a place for water. In the 90s, work began to save the monument. The Orthodox Church in Łopienka is an oriented, tripartite temple. During the renovation works, it was discovered that the walls of the women's section were thinner and erected on lesser foundations, which would indicate that it was added to the already standing church. There are three crypts in the church - two under the nave and one under the presbytery.

Next to the church, to the south-west of it, there was a wooden belfry, with a carcass construction, covered with a tented roof. The bells were taken by the Germans during the occupation. The belfry was pulled down in 1956. It has been rebuilt in recent years.

There is a cemetery near the church with only two tombstones.
