The Bieszczady Group of Creators of Culture

BGTK Gallery is an art gallery located in Zagórz. The heart that drives its bloodstream is the Bieszczadzka Grupa Twórców Kultury (BGTK) association, composed of artists and enthusiasts of creative life. It is a place with a rich history, the first pages of which were written by the most famous figures of the Bieszczady culture, such as Zdzisław Pękalski, Leon Chrapko Andrzej Wasilewski "Połonina" or a gallery keeper for many years. Jan Ligaj. With time, new artists from Bieszczady joined the association and the group of members grew significantly. For a long time, the association in Zagórze and its gallery were very active and the initiatives they organized were popular among local societies. Unfortunately, after some time, many of the founders of the association went their own way, creating numerous original studios located throughout the Bieszczady Mountains

The association focuses on promoting interesting local art created by artists from Bieszczady. By creating their own initiatives and artistic ideas, they try to change the world so that it becomes more interesting.

Each of the artists who will come here will be welcomed and will find a place for themselves, regardless of whether they create "in writing, in word or in a picture".
