The old church of St. Michael the Archangel in Regietów

Orthodox church of St. Michael the Archangel in Regietów is located in the parish of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist in Gładyszów, in the Gorlice deanery of the Gorlice-Przemyśl diocese of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church. Since 2012, when a new temple was built nearby, the church has not been used.

It is a small wooden structure with a plastered nave and a smaller, boarded chancel. Above the nave there is a gable roof with a centrally located turret topped with a spherical cupola. Over the presbytery there is a three-slope roof, also topped with a spherical cupola. Next to the church, there is a small metal belfry and a cross commemorating the 1000th anniversary of the baptism of Rus.

The church was built in the 1930s in connection with the conversion of some of the villagers to Orthodoxy and therefore their inability to use the local Greek Catholic temple. After the resettlement of the Lemko people as part of the "Vistula" operation (1947), the church was closed. There is a fertilizer warehouse in the building. The reopening of the temple took place in 1957, after some of the displaced residents returned and the necessary renovation of the building was made. Initially, the church was subordinate to the parish in Hańczowa, and later to the parish in Gładyszów. In 1997, a belfry was built next to the church. The temple was used until 2012, i.e. until the construction and consecration of a new, larger church in Regietów was completed.
