A cult restaurant and cafe in a historic medieval tenement house at the market square in Biecz
The restaurant and cafe "u Becza" is a facility located in Biecz - a small picturesque town, attracting many tourists with its charm for years. The restaurant is located in the Market Square, in the 15th-century historic tenement house of Dom Zbója Becz - the legendary founder of the city.
The restaurant's cuisine is inspired by the best traditions of Polish and Old Polish cuisine. The menu will surely meet the culinary expectations and requirements of even the most sophisticated gourmets.
The dishes in the restaurant are based on natural, best, local and fresh products. The restaurant "u Becza" specializes in homely cuisine and its own pastries and preserves. It is a friendly place with a family atmosphere.
In e inside the restaurant, local artists exhibit their works, whose owners support them by promoting. Most of the paintings hanging on the walls were produced by Natalia Krygowska from Strzeszyn, Barbara Rudzińska from Klęczany, future Bieczanka, and Marta Pilch-Bartuś from Biecz. The sculptures displayed in the restaurant are sculpted by Władysław Konsur from Biecz.
Some of the hanging paintings and sculptures are available for purchase. In addition, the restaurant also features live music performed by Luiza Dublewicz-Mleczko in pop, jazz and blues sounds. On summer afternoons, you can meet real knights inside the restaurant.
