The old family of counts Zámoyski belonged to the leading aristocratic families of the Kingdom of Poland for centuries. Its representatives from the Middle Ages held important state and military functions. They distinguished themselves in many wars with the enemies of Poland. They also left a mark on education, culture and other sectors of society. Historical sources say that Isabella Alfons de Bourbon was very emotionally attached to Stara Lubovna and was a strong and extraordinary personality. She wore simple clothes, most often on weekdays they were pants (!!!) and was often seen in the saddle. She had a straight hairstyle and personally supervised the household and farm.

In the greenhouse, she grew unusual asparagus and beautiful exotic flowers, unusual in this region. She led a healthy lifestyle, which is why a lot of fruit, vegetables and light poultry meat were eaten in the castle and in the manor. Spanish national dishes were also prepared on the surrounding farms, such as cocido, which consisted of rice, cold cuts, cabbage and beef. Although the locals remember her as a simple and energetic woman, she also followed the rules of an aristocratic lifestyle.
