Handicraft workshops

Developing the passion of the inhabitants of the Polish-Slovak borderland, handicraft workshops were held in June, during which we promoted the craft traditions of the former inhabitants of the Carpathians: Lemkos, Bojków, Pogórzans and Dolinians. The needles and threads, painstakingly threaded, created unusual patterns of beads, transforming into beautiful Lemko covers and Boyko syllains. By exploring the colorful threads, traditional patterns and embroidery were created. And full of children's passion for discovering and playing with wool in a cheerful atmosphere, miracles were conjured up during felting.

Reaching back to tradition and history, it is time not only to acquire new skills but also to pass on knowledge, developing the handicraft passions of the inhabitants of the Carpathians.
