In Zamagurz, family customs related to the birth of a child, baptism and funeral are cultivated. The wedding consists of: announcements in the church, invitation of guests to the wedding, abduction and purchase of the bride, the arrival of the groom for the bride, picking up the bride and groom from the parents and the eyepin. Archaic wedding elements in the villages of Lendak and Ždiar (Ždiar): guests dress in traditional costumes. In Ruthenian villages, groomsmen wear Drużbówka runners and dance the ceremonial wedding dance (hajduk).
