Working with imagination using the sense of touch may be based, for example, on the experience of visiting an open-air museum in Sanok, where it is possible to visit the interiors of cottages directly. A visit to the open-air museum engages all the senses. Tactile impressions in reference to the pastoral culture can be realized in the context of intercourse with animals (sheep, goats, cows) and craftsmanship (e.g. wool, linen). Workshops in the field of embroidery and Carpathian jewelry involve the participant and practice concentration by touch. Thin, tangled threads or small beads placed on a thread for hours can give an idea of the ancient nature of man, the spiritual dimension of activities. The multi-stage approach and the long time needed to obtain a satisfactory effect is the antithesis of contemporary consumerism and can now be a form of sublime relaxation.
The workshop offer of the Boyko Museum in Myczków also gives the opportunity to develop a manual, tactile sphere of activity. The classes allow direct contact with exhibits, old equipment and tools used on a farm and give the opportunity to try rolling clay pots.
