Bojkowie (Boykos)

1. Ewelina Matusiak - Wyderka

master of beads, creator of ethnic ornaments, lecturer at the University of Folk Arts and Crafts in Wola Sękowa. In 2010. founded the Miodosytnia art studio. Performs i.a. replicas of traditional jewelery worn by the inhabitants of the Carpathians - Lemkos, Boykos and Hutsulas, reproduced on the basis of ethnographic documentation.

2. Hubert Ossadnik , residing in in Sanok

Curator of the Folk Architecture Museum in Sanok, guide of the Bieszczady National Park, expert on topics in the field of noble culture, ethnography and history of the region, history of Galicia, Polish-Russian cultural borderland (with particular emphasis on the Lemko region). Author of many publications.

3. Jarosław Giemza, residing in in Łańcut

An expert in sacred art, head of the Orthodox Art Department of the Castle Museum in Łańcut and a member of the Conservation Committee of the Przemyśl-Warsaw Archdiocese, author of many publications, mainly on the historical Przemyśl eparchy.

4. Katarzyna Winnicka, residing in in Sanok

employee of the Historical Museum in Sanok as an art historian. Since 2002, she has been teaching icon studies at the State Higher Vocational School in Sanok, initiator of many exhibitions.

5. Jerzy Wojtowicz, resident of in Płowce

artist, painter, graphic artist, art restorer, writer of Carpathian icons. Founder of the Carpathian Icon Studio at the Folk Architecture Museum. Producer of many individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Jerzy Wojtowicz took part in the conservation of many iconostases, works of art and polychromes in Poland. He also took part in the biennial of the Carpathian Icon in Trebiszów (Slovakia) in 2005, where he won the Grand Prix.

6. Józef Sowa

musician, cymbalist, self-taught musician. He plays the violin, zlóbcokach and shepherd's instruments of the Carpathians, such as: bagpipes, trembits, horns, telenki, pipes, pipes, harps, bells and others. He conducts presentations for children and adults entitled "Carpathian Pastoral Folk Instruments". He collaborates with folk and folk groups from Poland and abroad. Propagator of the culture and folk music of the Carpathian Mountains.

7. Maria Faran, residing in in Polana
He runs the Historical Chamber "Polańskie Historical Collections" in Polana (Czarna commune). Activist and originator of the Polish Initiative Group. Knowledgeable about the place of her birth and life. He archives souvenirs of former inhabitants of the village and propagates knowledge about it.

8. Marianna Jara, residing in in Sanok

Musicologist, conductor of the diocesan choir of the "Irmos" Orthodox parish, as well as the "Widymo" ensemble, vice-president of the Sanok branch of the Union of Ukrainians in Poland. He plays many instruments, including folk instruments: Ukrainian bandura, lyre. Carpathian embroidery instructor at the Folk University of Arts and Crafts. An expert on the history of Ukraine and the areas of south-eastern Poland. Initiator of many religious and cultural events related to the commemoration of the multi-ethnic past of the region (including the Bieszczady Mountains).

9. Stanisław Drozd , resident of in Myczków

Founder and manager of the Bojków Museum of Spiritual and Material Culture in Myczków, retired history teacher. Stanisław Drozd is an autochthon from a Polish-Ruthenian family and has been collecting collectors since childhood. The items he collected about the Boyko culture became the core of the exhibition in the Myczków museum. He conducts museum workshops for children and adults. On his initiative, the Bojkowska Music Group was established.
